Members have to produce their Identity card for entering into the library.
Users have to keep their personal belongings outside the property counter, at the entrance.
Users are not permitted to take personal copies of books or other printed materials inside the library.
Members shall not engage in conversation (including subject discussions) in any part of the library so as to cause annoyance to any other reader.
Members shall not write upon, damage or mark any book belonging to the library; those who caught tearing pages / stealing books will be suspended forthwith from using the library facilities.
Users are not permitted to alter the arrangements of tables, chairs, etc., provided in the library. Keep the Library premises tidy.
The librarian reserves the right to suspend the membership of any member found misbehaving in the library.
Members should return books borrowed from the library before they proceed on a long period of leave and obtain a `No due Certificate` from the library.
Period of loan for a book will be 14days for B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech Students, and one month for staff.
Books can be renewed twice after 1st period of loan.
If a student fails to return a book on the due date a fine of Rs.1/- will be charged per day. However if the book is not returned even after two weeks from the date of return, it will be presumed to be lost and an amount equal to double the cost of book and the fine up to date of remittance of money
All the books should be returned on the date stamped on the date label affixed on the title page of the book. Absence from college will not be an excuse for not returning the book on time.
Renewal will not be granted if the book is under reservation.
The Librarian has the right to cut short the loan period if a book is of special demand.
The Librarian has the right to recall any book on loan and cancel any reservation at any time.
Reference Books, Periodicals and Newspapers are not issued.
Use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited inside the library.
The users must enter their details in the gate register.
Student can borrow three books at a time.
Borrower’s cards are not transferable.
In the case of loosing borrower’s cards, matter should immediately be reported to the librarian in writing. New borrower’s cards will be issued on paying a fine.
Books issued will not be accepted back on the same day. Library users are strictly prohibited from taking the borrowed and stamped books again inside the library.
No student should lend either the borrowers ticket or the books they have borrowed from the library to fellow students or outsiders.
The readers should check the book thoroughly for missing pages, chapters, pictures etc., while borrowing the book.
No book in damaged condition will be accepted from the reader. Mutilated or spoiled books will have to be replaced by the borrower.
Books and periodicals should be used with care. The members will be responsible for any damages and disfigurations caused to the books borrowed by them.
