The placement activities at Mangalam College of Engineering are headed by Prof. Varkey Philip. Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, and also Placement Coordinator from 1998 to 2001. Later Principal in charge at Govt. Engineering College, Barton Hill, Trivandrum till retirement. After retirement in 2004, worked as Professor and Placement Coordinator/ Consultant at the Rajagiri School of Engineering, Kochi, Kerala till end of February, 2013.

Mr. Deepesh Divakaran

Asst. Placement Coordinator

Mr. Deepesh Divakaran assists Prof. Varkey Philip on the daily activities of Placement Department. Deepesh Divakaran has more than 7 years of Experience in Software Development, Project Life Cycle Management, Requirement Study, Team Management, Product Development, Sales/ Marketing, Branding and Corporate Training. Deepesh brings with him rich experience of corporate world and hence can easily bridge the gap between Academics and Industry. Deepesh is well versed in Communicating with companies and also plays instrumental role in developing various skill in Students.

Ms. Sajeeva Merin Sunny

Placement Trainer - Aptitude

Ms. Sajeeva Merin Sunny takes care of Placement Training with a special focus on Aptitude training. Sajeeva was instrumental in designing the curriculum of Aptitude training for third year and fourth year students. She brings in experience of training the Students of Various colleges on Aptitude skills. She is a full time trainer in the college and hence helps students to develop overall skills to crack any Aptitude exams.

Ms. Ria Sebastian

Placement Trainer – Communicative English & Soft Skills

Ms. Ria Sebastian takes care of Placement Training with a special focus on Communicative English and Soft Skills Training. She is experienced in theatre production and holds a Master Degree in English Language and Literature. She helps students to communicate well in English in both Speaking and Writing Skills. She brings with her rich experience of Theatre which helps students to adjust to stage fear and perform well in Interview, GD and Public Speaking.
