The Central Library of Mangalam College of Engineering was established in the year 2002. It is fully automated with a rich collection of Books, National and International Journals, back volumes of journals, technical & general magazines, project reports, seminar reports and non-book materials like CD ROMs on Engineering and Management. This Library follows Dewey Decimal Classification System, Bar code based circulation process and OPAC Literature Search. This library provides on- line access to a large number of full text journals from various publishers. These e-journals are accessible on intranet to campus users only.

Membership of the library is open to Students, Teachers and Non Teaching Staff of this college. Library membership is free to all faculty, staff and students.

 

The SOUL software is used for Library Automation, an integrated multi-user management system that supports all in-house operations of the library. Bibliographic records of books available in the library can be accessed through the SOUL OPAC. Users can rely on the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) for checking the location and availability of books.

Reprographic Facility

Library is providing the latest reprographic facility to students to disseminate material quickly and cost effectively aiding better learning on campus. Question papers of previous year university examinations, articles of journals can also be photocopied
