Dr.D.Ramesh Kumar was born on May 20, 1984 as first son for Deivasigamani and Kasthuri couple at Perundurai. He have completed his schooling at ShriMaha Higher Secondary School, Ingoor, Soon after his schooling he joined Kongu Polytechnic College at Perundurai for completing his diploma in Civil Engineering from the year 2000 to 2003. He did his under graduate in civil Engineering at KSR college of Engineering, Tiruchengode from 2003 to 2006. After finishing his degree he joined RK builders, Erode for a span of 1 year where he applied his gained knowledge of Engineering and enrich his wisdom. He did his M.Tech Structural Engineering in VIT University, Vellore from 2007 to 2009.As he thought academic would be his best choice he started his academic carrier as a lecturer in Department of civil Engineering, KSR college of Engineering in 2009. He has been elevated to assistant professor in the year 2010. He was awarded for his doctorate of philosophy in Utilization of Industrial by products under Anna University in the year 2018. He has attended 15 National conferences and 8 International conference and published papers in reputed International Journals. He also guided more than 16 under graduate projects and 10 post graduate students for their projects during his carrier. He has presented himself as guest speaker in and around Tamil Nadu which includesCauvery Engineering College, Sakthi Polytechnic College, Government Polytechnic College etc., He has also visited foriegncountries for International Conference and presentation including National University of Singapore. During his carrier other than academics he was held up with activities like NBA and NAAC coordinator. His additional responsibilities haven't stop there, He has been acted as Estate officer, Association In charge, and Infrastructure facility for AICTE Survey and many more. He organized many technical and non technical events for student community under Lattice during the year 2011-13.Dr.Ramesh Kumar has organized 2 National conferences for the benefit of academicians, researchers and industrialists in and around. He dedicated as a coordinator for AICTE sponsored FDP programme for the benefit of faculty worth 4 lakhs during the year 2012.He has also acted as co Principal Investigator under RPS scheme of SERB, Department of Science and Technology in which he received 14 lakhs fund during the year 2012.

He was active member of MISTE and ICI, His areas of interest includes Industrial Waste Management, Reinforced Concrete, and Structural Analysis. He enhances his knowledge by attending various online courses, seminars, workshops and training programmes. To number few 6 faculty development programme 9 workshops, 3 NPTEL courses etc.,

Other than academics he involved himself in playing shuttle and reading books to keep his body and mind healthy.
